Abstract
|

|
he present experiment was investigated on the effects of Sagunjatang extract on the humoral immune response of rabbit.
In order to understand the immune respone of the extract, one of the experimental groups was treated with the antigen, E. coii R y 13 suspension and the extract. And the serum separated from the treated group was analyzed. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The body weight of the rabbit treated with Sagunjatang extract was increased remarkably.
2. Sagunjatang extract did not affect the number of erythrocytes, however, it increased the number of WBC in small amount. It means that the extract activates the WBC ielated with producing antibody. 3. The synthesis of 7?globulin was stimulated by the Sagunjatang extract in the present experiment.
